01 / The destination

Ambitious. Connected.
Globally minded.

A meeting point for business, culture and opportunity. Across seven emirates, the UAE offers a setting for long-term living and international plans. EPMC helps you assess the Golden Visa category and nomination approach appropriate to your profile.

02 / Why the UAE

Long-term residence.
On your own terms.

01

Time to plan ahead

Explore renewable residence that gives your next chapter a longer horizon, subject to the conditions of your approved category.

02

Space for your ambitions

Live, work and study in the UAE, while exploring business, investment and lifestyle opportunities under the applicable rules.

03

A connected family life

Bring your family into the conversation. Eligible relatives may obtain residence through the appropriate sponsorship procedure.

Business licensing, banking, property transactions and professional work may have their own approvals and requirements. Golden residence does not remove those conditions.

03 / Understanding your profile

Three financial profiles.
One personal assessment.

Explore three financial profiles for an initial nomination assessment. We help you organise the evidence that best reflects your circumstances.

Your profile is the starting point. The figures below are indicative assessment guidelines. Eligibility also depends on the applicable Golden Visa category, your professional merits and the required supporting evidence.

Salaried employee

US$9,000+Indicative monthly salary

A profile built on regular earnings.

  • Last three months’ bank statements showing regular salary credits.
  • Income tax return and/or salary certificate.
  • Closing bank balance of approximately US$25,000.

Salary requirements vary by Golden Visa category. We will confirm the criteria relevant to your application.

Asset-based profile

US$350,000Indicative asset value

A broader view of your finances.

  • Shares, securities or other movable assets of approximately US$350,000.
  • Bank balance of approximately US$150,000.
  • For initial assessment of applicants earning below approximately US$9,000 per month.

Asset holdings alone do not establish eligibility for a Golden Visa category.

Business owner

US$700,000Indicative net worth

Your business. Your next chapter.

  • Net worth certificate from a chartered accountant, approximately US$700,000.
  • Last three months’ bank statements showing approximately US$100,000.
  • Income tax return and supporting business financials, where available.

Business and professional merits are assessed alongside financial evidence.

Individual eligibility reviewDiscuss my profile

EPMC will help you identify the relevant financial profile and confirm the evidence required for your proposed category. Financial evidence alone does not guarantee nomination or residence approval.

04 / Family matters

Your plans.
The people who matter.

Consider residence for your family alongside your own application.

01 / Your partner

A shared next chapter.

A spouse may be considered for family residence, subject to the applicable sponsorship requirements and relationship evidence.

02 / Your children

Room for their future.

Children may be eligible under Golden Residency family provisions. EPMC will review their circumstances and confirm the current rules for your application.

03 / Your parents

Keep family in view.

Parents may be considered under the relevant family residence procedure. Confirm documentation, insurance and the duration of the permission issued.

Family permits are subject to their own requirements. Any request concerning a sibling needs a separate assessment; it is not presented here as a standard Golden Visa family entitlement.

05 / The application process

From nomination
to your next chapter.

Six stages, prepared and coordinated around your circumstances.

01 / Assess your eligibility

Discuss your background, professional achievements, family and financial evidence. Identify the category to be assessed.

02 / Prepare the nomination package

Bring together the application data, CV, professional record and supporting documents with your EPMC adviser.

03 / Government assessment

Submit through the applicable channel and respond to requests for additional information. Nomination and residence decisions remain with the authorities.

04 / Plan entry or status arrangements

Following the relevant approval, confirm the entry permit or in-country procedure and follow the dates on the issued documents.

05 / Complete medical and biometrics

Attend the required UAE medical examination and biometric enrolment appointments, as applicable to your application.

06 / Complete residence issuance

Finish the remaining formalities and receive the residence outcome and identity documentation, subject to authority approval.

06 / Planning your time

Prepare with an understanding of the stages ahead. Actual timing depends on the category, document readiness and government processing.

Passport copy with at least six months’ validity and a UAE-compliant passport photograph. Confirm any additional validity requirement for your category.

02Application forms

Completed application data sheet and booking form, prepared with your adviser, together with the official forms required by the relevant channel.

Valid travel insurance for your journey and the health insurance required for the residence application. Keep issued entry and appointment documents available.

This is an initial overview. EPMC will confirm the checklist for the proposed category; the receiving authority may request additional documents.

09 / Your questions

A little more clarity.

Is this UAE citizenship?

No. The Golden Visa is a residence permission. It does not grant UAE citizenship or a UAE passport.

Do the three financial profiles guarantee eligibility?

No. These profiles guide the initial financial assessment. Applicants must also meet the criteria for the applicable Golden Visa category and receive the required government approvals.

Do I need a local sponsor?

Golden Residency does not require a local sponsor. The category may still have employment, qualification, investment or recommendation requirements that must continue to be met.

Can I apply for my family?

Eligible family members may obtain residence under the relevant sponsorship procedure. EPMC will confirm each person’s requirements, supporting documents and permit duration.

When do I need to travel to the UAE?

Follow the deadline and conditions stated on your approval and entry permit. EPMC will help you plan your travel and appointments around the requirements issued for your application.

How long does the process take?

Allow approximately 30–45 days for government review and around five days after biometrics. Actual timing depends on the application, completion of requirements and government processing.

Are the financial amounts fees or payments to EPMC?

No. The figures describe financial evidence for assessment. Government, medical, identity-document, insurance and professional fees are separate; request an itemised quotation.

Will the visa automatically open a bank account or business?

No. Banks and licensing authorities assess applications under their own requirements. EPMC can help you plan the practical steps and identify the support needed.
